Hi there! I'm thinking about applying to Rutgers University, but I'm not sure if they require ACT scores. If they do, is there a preference between ACT and SAT scores? Thanks for the help!
4 months agoHello! Rutgers University is currently test-optional for the 2024-2025 application cycle, which means they do not require submission of ACT or SAT scores for admissions consideration. If you believe that your test scores accurately represent your academic ability and would strengthen your application, you can still choose to submit them. However, if you think your scores do not reflect your academic potential, it won't negatively impact your application if you decide not to submit them at all.
Rutgers does not have a preference between the ACT and SAT scores. If you opt to submit test scores as part of your application, either the ACT or SAT would be considered equally. The choice of which test to submit comes down to your personal strengths and the scores you've got on each test. Good luck with your application!
